 Acton Farmers' Market : June - October

 

The Acton Market is gearing up for its 7th season in 2016!  We run every Thursday from June to October from 3 - 7 pm on Willow Street South in the heart of downtown Acton. 

There is live entertainment and great vendors for your enjoyment. 

Sprouts Kids Club: Sprouts Kids Club is a weekly event at the Acton Farmers’ market for all kids age 5 – 12.  The program focuses on teaching kids about their food and where it comes from.  The mission of the Sprouts Kids Club is to educate and inspire children to take part in their local food system, enjoy eating nutritious foods and helping them to make healthy choices.  Each week the child attends the Market they are given 1 special ‘Sprouts Tokens’, worth $1 to spend at the market .  There will be weekly activities centered around food and nutrition. Sign up opening day at the information booth and join in the fun at the returning Sprouts Kids Club at the Acton Farmers’ Market.

WHAT'S NEW?

The Board of the Acton BIA would like to announce that the BIA Manager, Beth Paisley, will leave the position effective September 13th . The Board would like to thank Beth for her services and contribution this past year and half.  Beth initiated a number of programs and initiatives including a strategic plan exercise as well as successfully managed Acton's signature festivals, events and celebrations. Beth also ran the Farmers' Market and maintained the flowers.
